Some Hotspots for Robbery, at late hours in Lagos -Man alleges

Following the armed robbery incident & Nigeria Police non-challancy that claimed the life of a promising Nigeria youth who was a victim of the failed Nigeria system.

David Ntekim-Rex, a tech enthusiast was shot dead around Jibowu in Lagos State on Friday night as he was returning from work. He was on his way home around 8pm walking down Jibowu road Yaba after his brother had dropped him at the the bus stop where he was robbed and shot instantly.

This raised agitations among youths on social media and other concerned individuals, as it was reportedly that the Police refuse to let the family rush David to the hospital on time just because they found a laptop on him.

Afterwards he was rushed to Lagos University Teaching Hospital LUTH where he was also denied treatment till David breath his last breathe.

David was a winner of the IBM annual competition. In 2018, David beat 17,000people worldwide from Brazil, Germany, India, Japan, Nepal and USA to become regional champion of the prestigious IBM Master the Mainframe competition. He was 19 years old as at the time

This sad occurrence took place at Jibowu, residents of Lagos share alert of locations where this armed robbers operate regularly especially in collaboration with the Police.
